Germany is Poland’s most important trading partner, and the partner country is also in the top five. Economic analyzes predict that this trend will increase in the future. Since summer 2021, the two Militzer & Münch national companies have therefore strategically expanded their cooperation in the road transport segment. The focus is on the transport of partial loads (LTL), which are mainly imported from Germany to Poland. Upon customer request, Militzer & Münch also transports the goods as groupage transport. To do this, the logistics service provider delivers the goods to one of three conveniently located transshipment warehouses in Poland and consolidates the load there if necessary. While the local Militzer & Münch team takes care of the coordination, organization and customer support, while partner companies take over nationwide distribution.

Sales increase

“We work with partners, each of whom we currently select using scheduling software. In order to conserve resources, we pick up additional loads along the way, schedule across locations and try to concentrate coordination in the receiving country,” says Thomas Winter, Managing Director of Militzer & Munich Germany. He predicts a positive development: “The teams were always able to react quickly and always found suitable solutions for our customers – we have received some good new orders. We can already see a noticeable increase in sales. I definitely see a positive development here for the future!”
