Over 9,000 kilometers from Brazil to Poland: In the summer, Militzer & Münch Poland coordinated the transport of equipment for a new paper products factory. The collaboration with the client, one of the leading Brazilian machine manufacturers for the paper industry, entered the next round. The Polish national subsidiary of Militzer & Münch took over the door-to-door transport from the manufacturer’s factory in Brazil to the factory of a leading Polish paper products manufacturer together with the long-standing Brazilian logistics partner Pirâmide SeaAir. The printing rollers, steel frames and printing screens are part of a production line for the new factory. Greeting cards, children’s coloring books and gift bags are produced here, among other things. In addition to the transport, the Militzer & Münch team worked with the Brazilian logistics partner to coordinate customs clearance as well as loading and lashing of the bulky parts. In mid-June, the 18 containers – both 40-foot containers and flat racks – reached Gdansk safely and on time. Thanks to the new road department in Warsaw, Militzer & Münch also handled 15 complete loads from Italy and Slovakia to the construction site in Iława within two days. Machines and machine parts were also transported here.
