This change has the following effects on your shipments to and from Asia: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extended transit times: Depending on the port rotation and the speed of the ships, the detour results in a transit time that is approximately 14 to 21 days longer.<\/li>\n<li>Shifts in shipping company timetables: The delays lead to significant shifts in shipping company timetables.<\/li>\n<li>Capacity shortage and higher rates: The delays on the westbound route from Asia to Europe are leading to a capacity shortage and significantly increasing freight rates. When importing from Asia, advance booking times of 2 \u2013 3 weeks must currently be planned, and the trend is increasing. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our solutions for you: We actively keep you up to date on the status of your sea freight bookings and the progress of your shipments.
